As Bowl Season approaches hopefully we will have a Bowl Podcast Show up and going. You can email us at Mail@pigskinfootballguys.com with anything you want to know or want us to talk about. We will post the PODCAST here on our blog. We are working kinks out of the forums, but we also are going to need moderators. We will hand select some of you as you post on the forums. Please post as often and consistently as you can. As the season comes to a close recruiting and drafting will soon arise. If you hear something in your area about recruits or draft picks. Please post! The longest part of the year is going to be off-season. You guys have made this site what it is. We had a record day with 4,700 hits within the first month of existence. That is pretty unheard of for a blog sites. So we thank you for linking us up on forums, telling a friend or emailing articles. Please continue to spread the word!

After reading, B Webb's article. If you look at the last 12 years the best player in football doesn't always win the heisman trophy. In fact, the winner's pro career isn't that impressive. If you look at this list only a handful are dominating in the league. Last year Troy Smith was a perfect example. Darren McFadden is without a doubt the best footballplayer this year and was last year. However, do to his horrible coach and lack of play call for the Hogs he probably will be sitting in the same seat at NYC.  With Dixon out, that leaves a bunch of overrated prospects. While I think the offense with Tebow is amazing at Florida, there is reason why people quit running quarterbacks outside of the option. QB's can't hold up when you run them like a running back i.e: Tim Tebow's bum shoulder problems. Eddie George, Charles Woodson, Carson Palmer, and Reggie Bush are about the only ones who lived up to the "Heisman Hype." Now I know some of these guys have played in the NFL and that is commendable in itself, but I would like to see the voters get it right and the next heisman canidate live up to the hype.
