The Colts were handed their second loss by my San Diego "Super" Chargers. Peyton had an uncharacteristic night but as I watched the game it didn't seem like it was all his fault. The Chargers put major pressure on the QB all night. I love watching the Chargers bring the heat. But lets be honest though, Reggie Wayne just seem to be in a different world. He had great numbers on paper, 10 catches for 140 yards and a TD. He also ran poor routes and let up causing two interceptions.
Cromartie just wanted the ball more on that comeback route. Unless it was a slant over the middle Wayne just looked flat. I am a chargers fan and I am pumped we squeeked one out but come one guys. San Diego had a lead and dominated the battle up front. Our offense however was less than stellar and down right anemic. If you saw the interview with LT after the game, you could see the frustration on his face. Norv better get his act together. The only thing he called all night was predicting the Chargers could beat the Colts in special teams play. Little man Sproles had a night but other than that the Chargers have a long way to go. They have the talent on all sides of the ball there is no excuses; they just have to get the job done. But for now they beat the Colts and are first in the division. It is goin' to be an interesting season in the AFC.
